Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop

Hey y’all, what’s up? It’s been two weeks since I’ve posted anything, and we have been BUSY. My husband put in his second awards show (Vibe5 Awards) last weekend, and it was AMAZING! God was there, and people were blessed. Couldn’t ask for more.

Vibe5 Awards was created from the Vibe5 showcases that we put on. Every quarter, we have a showcase spotlighting independent artists, usually music and sometimes spoken word. My husband wanted to give a voice to artists that are usually overlooked or ignored because they don’t have the backing of a label.  In December, the Vibe5 Awards honors all of the hard work these artists have done over the past year.

I said that to say this: Continue to do what God has called you to do. Someone is watching, someone is waiting, someone needs what you have. Will discouragement come? Yes? Will lack of motivation come? Also, yes. Will it be difficult at times? Yes. Will there be times when you’re frustrated and angry? Absolutely, yes. You must remember to push past all of this and look at the bigger picture. God gave it to you to honor Him and help His people. Remember that it’s not about you and that adversity makes you stronger. You are called to this, and you are built for this because GOD SAID SO, and He has equipped you with everything you need to complete the task. It’s God job to make it perfect. It’s your job to finish, and finish with excellence.

Colossians 3:23-24 23 Whatever you do, do it from the heart, as something done for the Lord and not for people, 24 knowing that you will receive the reward of an inheritance from the Lord. You serve the Lord Christ.”

Finish the work. Keep pushing. Don’t stop. GOD IS BACKING YOU, and there are people in your corner praying for you, rooting for you, and wanting to see you WIN. You got this. Stay up.

As always, remember that I want you loved and FREE IN CHRIST. Peace and blessings.
